Color correction, I attempted w/the scanner. Much better than below, I think.
I was working on this already when I saw this week's topic. It appears that a few things are in general disrepair here including fences and tombstones. This was done on BLACK construction paper but the scan seems to have changed that. Looks brown to me on my monitor. Not sure what can be done for that. Feel free to opine. Have a great weekend.
Happy creating, all.

i like this. it feels eerie. perfect for this time of year. as for the scanning issue, i have no idea!
Very nice and spooky. I love how rich colored pencil on black paper is. You still get some of that richness even though it looks brownish on my monitor too. Does your scanner have a photo and a document option? Sometimes scanners will "color correct" for photos. My scanner has an advanced mode where I can correct the contrast or the color in preview mode--you might want to see if yours has features like this.
love the spooky feeling and monochrom colors. and to fix the color, i usually use photoshop!
Great mood and pencil work!

Thanks Heather, the scan plan worked.
Wonderful spooky cemetary!
My scanner struggles with true blacks too, however much tweaking I do!
Oh! It's creepy!
Wonderful piece of spooky theme drawing.
I like the way you put up the archway entrance and the white fence.
Love your earthy colour tone & the wavy pathway...
