I.F. Wide

Some day, Lion - Goauche/Colorpencil
Open wide! This picture is inspired from Aesop's fable of the Lion and the Mouse. Just a couple weeks of teaching left and I can draw and paint again. Not that I don't during the school year, but these last few weeks are always crowded w/ year-end activities.
Happy creating, all!

I adore the softness of the lion's mane. Nice colors, too!

I thought that was one fearless mouse, but the lion looks so cuddly even with its mouth wide open. :) With summer approaching, I hope you'll be able to wrap everything at work and Happy Creating during off school period!

Lion has a very wide and luckily for mouse friendly smile.

One of my favorite fables. What an adorable rendition of it! I bet you feel great that you'll have more time to paint. I'm looking forward to the long weekend for more time to draw and create!!
